5 SENSES

What perspective you carry within is an important part of life. And if you talk to millions of people, you will get a million answers to one question? And you will eventually get to know the human cycle from different perspectives and mindsets. A few months back, I read one of the novels of Mark Manson where it was said, "Every person is different, even the figures," so why waste time thinking about what others do with their lives and what others feel about what you do? It does not have to make sense to someone else if it makes sense to you. So, here we are with different perspectives and different mindsets.

In school, we used to read about the senses in our body. How do they work? But somehow I think that the school education system should be both about the real and virtual worlds. Where a person can learn about both senses for life. So, here we are talking about senses, but in a different way. We have been through a lot in our lives, yet we do not give up and keep living, and there are a lot of emotions we carry around to find balance in our lives. But the question is, how do you overcome these and find a balance?

Anger is a powerful emotion. It comes from various things that trigger you, threaten you, make you negative, make you lose  you negative, make you lose someone, and make you fail or say you are unable to do something. It works as a defence mechanism for those who are in pain or want to distract themselves. I believe sometimes when you try to distract yourself from something, it comes back to you running all over again. This is only one thing that masks other feelings and makes you harm yourself or others, either with words or otherwise. It's always better to accept your emotions and deal with them. The more you deal with yourself, the more you become familiar with yourself. It’s a good thing to show anger somewhere, but it is devastating to channel it everywhere.

Happiness is finding a long-lost 10 rupees in your back pocket; happiness is finding a childhood memory in one of the boxes. Happiness can be anything and can be found in everything. Little things or big gestures—passing out everything makes us happy in a different way. Every person has their own definition of happiness. If you look around, there are a lot of things that are invisible in a person's life, but happiness is the only thing that is visible, whether a person wants us to see it or not. This is the only thing that keeps people hopeful that someday there will be happy days and a better life.

Sadness is the only thing that keeps you away from people and feeling alive. It is a negative feeling that no one wants to feel, but I think that keeps our lives in balance. You cannot be 100% happy and 100% sad; there is always 50/50 to keep up the balance of nature. Sadness can turn into depression if you indulge yourself too much in it. There is no medicine to overcome the feelings. It is your responsibility not to treat your melancholy like a disease. The most important thing to do to overcome sadness is to sit with it and know the answer to "why?" so that you won't regret it in the coming years and spend it on what-ifs.

Everyone feels proud when they achieve something. I think being proud should be an everyday thing because there are a lot of situations you can be proud of. It is not necessary for you to be proud of things that are just goals in your diary. You should be proud of yourself for having come a long way, for choosing humanity instead of ignoring it, for being strong and giving your best to your life, and for being proud of the people that make your life a little better. How easy it is to be proud, but how difficult it is to be too proud of a certain thing and feel bad about other days. You don’t have to be successful, driven, married, and have three children to be proud of; you just have to be human enough.

Empathy is the capacity to understand another person's feelings. We live in a practical world where everyone is moving on with their lives instead of sticking around. We understand that time never waits. The problem with our generation is that they never listen; they only know how to answer, except what. Acknowledging someone’s problem, listening to them, making them understand you are there, and being supportive is not a waste of time. Even though we don’t know people, we always say, ‘I wish I could help them’. You can help without showing up on TV, in videos, or in headlines. So, what is more vital for you? To understand or to be famous. You don’t do things out of publicity; you help others out of empathy.
